Trainer is ONLY FOR, and ONLY WILL WORK FOR games that are PRIVATE and you are PLAYING SOLO.
Trainer has been updated with NEW INSTRUCTIONS.
You need to place the following text
--delay_gameguard_init
into the LAUNCH OPTIONS for the game in STEAM. If you plan to LAUNCH the game using AURORA, you will also need to put it in the TRAINER SETTINGS under GAME ARGUMENTS.
Make sure AURORA is already running and the trainer for HELLDIVERS 2 is pulled up.
RENAME the file
GameGuard.des
usually here:
C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Helldivers 2\bin
to:
GameGuard2.des
Next, take the INCLUDED game executable named:
helldivers2.exe
And replace the one usually located here:
C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Helldivers 2\bin
Launch the game from steam and as soon as you see AURORA says GAME RUNNING, you activate the trainer VERY QUICKLY, otherwise you will get a GAMEGUARD error.
Remove All Damage In Game:
This removes ALL damage in the game, allowing the civilians to safely make it to the extraction zone. Note that this also means that enemies cannot be harmed either, so set up things to distract them if possible to keep paths clear if you can. This will greatly help SOLO missions with civilians to protect.
Stratagem ID:
This is the Unique ID for the Stratagem in slot 1. You can experiment by changing this ID and see what other Stratagem you can have in this slot. Some values may show something that isn't spawnable. You can swap stratagems mid mission using this. Perhaps someone can make a list of working values for users to note or you can make a list of your own for future reference.
