Installation: Place the archive file in the folder at: "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Subverse\Saved\SaveGames\"

%USERPROFILE% is the name of your account, such as User or Player. AppData is a system folder and is hidden by default. To see it, go to View in the top menu and check the box next to ✅ Hidden Items.
And yes, if the game hasn't been installed or is being launched for the first time, there won't be a Subverse\ folder. Launch the game and it will create this folder, into which you can then place your save.
